Events in October

Fall in New Hampshire is a special time of year.

Fall is officially here, and with it a host of events for the month of October. Cooler temps and shorter days can still be filled with plenty of excitement and hot racing. Here’s a look at some events in the southern NH/ Seacoast area for the next few weeks.

Saturday, Sept. 30- Sunday, October 1- NEMRR Round 7

The Northeast Motorcycle Road Racing club sees NEMRR Round 7 at Loudon. New Hampshire Motor Speedway will host the last race on the 2023 schedule. Registration for the event is still open through September 25 at 9pm. Event info can be found here for NEMRR Round 7.

Friday, October 6 - 8 - NH Grass Drags and Watercross

Kicking things off in October is the annual New Hampshire Grass Drags and Watercross. The Grass Drags are a three-day event held at Brookvale Pines Farm in Fremont, NH and feature an enormous swap meet, freestyle shows, antique and vintage snowmobiles, grass drag racing and watercross racing. Gates open at 2pm Friday, October 6th and runs through October 8th. More event information can be found on the New Hampshire Snowmobile Associations website (NH Grass Drags and Watercross ).

Saturday, October 7- The 19th Annual Pig Roast & Bike Ride

Wally’s in Hampton is having their 19th annual Pig Roast & Bike Run. Tickets for the event can be found here, bring your bike and your appetite.


Sunday, October 15th -5th Annual Merrimack Valley Motorcycle Swap Meet. The event is held at the American Legion Post #4, 1314 N. Main St, Haverhill, MA. Anyone wishing to participate in the meet can RSVP on the MVMSM Website.

Sunday, October 15- ProRider Rodeo Skills Competition

Seacoast Harley-Davidson is inviting riders of all skill levels out for the ProRider Rodeo Skills Competition. The competition will see riders show their best bike handling skills in three rider categories: Police Officer, Civilian Expert, and Civilian Novice. SHD will also be holding a 50/50 raffle and an assortment of vendors on site including Molon Labe Cigars, 3rd Eye Tattoo, Junkyard Grub Food truck, Hurricane Ridge Metal Works and more. I’m quite excited about the NH Grass Drags, that always has exciting racing, and dozens of interesting snowmobiles all around.
